The makers of the upcoming film, ‘Nagabandham’ directed by Abhishek Nama, have unveiled the first look of Jagapathi Babu as Prabhakar. Sharing the poster, the makers also shared the teaser release date of the film. Let’s find out.
Stylish poster reveal
In the poster, Jagapathi Babu is looking stylish while sitting in a chopper in the air. The Tollywood veteran wrote on social media, “Here’s my look as #Prabhakar from #NAGABANDHAM.Teaser on February 15th | 11:11 AM. @viratkarrna @nikstudiosindia @abhishekpictures @abhisheknaama.”
Earlier, the team revealed Rishabh Sawhney’s look as Abdali. Rishabh is known for his presence in Bollywood’s ‘Fighter’. In ‘Nagabandham’, he plays the Afghan Sultan Abdali, a cruel and ambitious figure from history. The film shows him looting temples and chasing wealth while risking lives, including children and Brahmins.

As per IANS, director Abhishek Nama said, “Rishabh has transformed into this complex character, bringing depth and intensity to the role.” Rishabh Sawhney added, “I am honored to portray a character as challenging as Abdali. I aimed to reflect the complexities and motives of this historical figure while remaining true to the story’s essence.”
Cast and production details of ‘Nagabandham’
‘Nagabandham’ stars Virat Karrna in the lead, with Nabha Natesh and Iswarya Menon as the female leads. Jagapathi Babu, Jayaprakash, Murali Sharma, and BS Avinash play important roles. The film is set in 1750 and promises strong visuals. Soundar Rajan S is the cinematographer, RC Pranav handles editing, and Ashok Kumar leads production design.

Meanwhile, Jagapathi will be next seen in the upcoming Ram Charan starrer ‘Peddi’ directed by Buchi Babu Sana. He plays the character Appalasoori. He is seen as an aged character from the village. Yesterday on his birthday, the makers shared a picture with the director and wrote, “Wishing the stellar @IamJagguBhai Garu a very Happy Birthday. -Team #Peddi.
