Star Plus’ popular serial ‘Jhanak’ was in the news for its upcoming leap, but now it has been postponed for some time. Earlier it was reported that the show is going to have a 20-year leap, which will see changes in all the major characters. However, now reports are coming that this leap has been postponed due to IPL.
Major changes to be made in the show due to leap
The lead actors of the show, Hiba Nawab (Jhanak) and Krishna Kaul (Aniruddha) had made it clear that they will not remain in the show after the leap. Hiba said that she did not want to play the character of a 40-year-old woman, which is why she decided to leave the show.
Similarly, Krishna Kaul, who plays Aniruddha, was also going to leave the show after this leap. Due to these major changes, the makers of the show started looking for new actors and many names came up, including Niharica Roy, Shoaib Ibrahim and Shagun Pandey.
